Staff Electrical Engineer
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Staff Electrical Engineer to join our innovative team in the robotics and HVAC industry. This role involves leading the design, development, and implementation of advanced electrical systems for our consumer products, focusing on areas such as PCB design, power systems, and control technologies. The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring the scalability and manufacturability of our products while maintaining high standards of quality and performance.
Responsibilities:
  • Design & Development: Lead the design and development of printed circuit boards (PCBs) and power systems tailored for consumer products, with an emphasis on performance, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Control Systems Engineering: Develop and optimize control systems for applications such as refrigeration, inverter drive units, and compressors, ensuring they meet industry standards and company specifications.
  • Product Manufacturing & Scalability: Collaborate with manufacturing teams to ensure that electrical designs are scalable and suitable for high-volume production, while also being easy to manufacture and maintain.
  • Testing & Verification: Oversee the testing and validation of electrical systems, including low voltage and power electronics, to ensure they meet all necessary standards and specifications.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with teams across various disciplines, including mechanical engineering and software development, to integrate electrical components effectively into broader product designs.
Expected Skills:
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • 5-7 years of experience in electrical engineering, with expertise in PCB design, power systems, and control systems relevant to HVAC or robotics.
  • Hands-on experience with inverter drive units and compressor control systems.
  • Strong knowledge of power electronics and related systems.
  • Proficiency with CAD software for PCB design (e.g., Fusion, Altium, Eagle).
  • Understanding of manufacturing processes and design for manufacturability (DFM).
