Why we exist
The world is getting hotter, and keeping people comfortable has become one of the largest uses of electricity on earth. Yet the machines we rely on have barely changed in decades: complex to install, indifferent to the grid, and designed as if nobody has to look at them.
Form Industries exists to change what a heat pump is. We went back to first principles and asked what heating and cooling should be in an electric world: hardware any licensed electrician or plumber can install, machine intelligence that runs it quietly in the background, and design considered enough to belong in the room.
We are not building appliances. We are building energy infrastructure, one room at a time. Every Airform is made to be a good citizen of the grid, efficient on its own and smarter together.
How we work
Engineering
Water, not refrigerant.
Heat moves between our indoor and outdoor units through water alone. No refrigerant lines between devices, no specialized rigs, and no compromise on performance.
Design
Architectural grade.
Hardware engineered to disappear into the spaces it serves: thin, quiet, and considered down to the panel colors.
One team
Vertically integrated.
Design, hardware, software and factory, all in-house. Owning every layer lets us delete cost and complexity others accept as given.
Proving ground
Made for the hardest places.
Designed in Hawaii: humid, salt-laden, sunlit, and home to America’s most expensive power. If Airform performs here, it performs anywhere. Every unit is assembled in the USA.
